The Trinity College Blakeview Out of School Hours Care and Vacation Care programs are an important service available to our community. We have over 51 years experience in the service. Our goal is to provide well-balanced, quality care in a safe, friendly environment while promoting a healthy and successful life for school aged children by providing recreational experiences before school, after school, on pupil free days and in vacation care periods. Through the provision of accessible, affordable quality care, our OSHC service contributes to the economic and social well-being of families, children and communities by assisting families to manage the competing demands of work, study and family. OSHC complements children's learning at home and at school by promoting supportive social environments where children build independence and apply learning in social contexts. We aim to provide a program developmentally appropriate to the leisure needs of the children attending the service and provide for the development of each child's social, physical, emotional and intellectual potential, including language skills and creativity. Children and their families will be actively involved in all program planning, implementation and evaluation processes.
Please feel free to come and experience it for yourself!
OUR PHILOSOPHY STATEMENT At Trinity College Blakeview OSHC we believe in providing a safe, inclusive and nurturing care environment for all children. We believe the relationships with our children, families and wider community to be the foundation of our service. We pride ourselves on positive relationships that support children feeling empowered, valued, safe and secure. We believe in a child-centred approach where by our program and practices emerge from children’s ideas and interests. We have a deep appreciation for the learning and development opportunities here at OSHC, the power of play, and the social and emotional growth we can encourage through planned and spontaneous experiences. We guide behaviour through a positive approach that is consistent and respects the individual. When at OSHC we hope to inspire the children in our care to develop their creativity, problem solving, social skills, personal identities, a respect for their health and wellbeing, and sense of belonging.

Vacation Care (VAC) During vacation care we offer excellent daily programs exploring new learning opportunities through a range of crafts, activities, incursions and excursions whilst building relationships with our peers and community.
