Aim For parents to pay their OSHC/vacation care fees on time. Implementation The following outlines the how fees can be paid. Fees must be paid on the week prior to your child attending the service. Bookings and cancellations, late fee pickup fees outlined.
Upon enrolment, families must pay an administration fee of $15, this is then paid annually
Fees must be paid once the accounts are out.
Accounts must be paid for OSHC BSC/ASC before your child can access vacation care.
Fees can be paid weekly, fortnightly, direct deposit of B-pay.
Fees are payable for every day that your child is enrolled at the service. This includes pupil free days, sick days and family holidays but excludes periods when the service is closed.
Child Care Benefit (CCB) is available to all families who are Australian Residents. To find out their eligibility, families must contact the Family Assistance Office.
Child Care Benefits can be received as:
A reduction of fees through the service. A receipt will be issued for all fees paid by cash. This will include the child/children’s full name/s, date of care, date of payment, amount, etc. If the incorrect amount is paid, change will not be given but will be credited to the families account.
Should you wish to end your child’s place at the service or should management make the decision to terminate your child’s place, 5 working days written notice is required from the ending/terminating party. If this does not occur, fees will be billed to you.
Fees: The operating costs in relation to OSHC ensure we continue to deliver high quality services and our operations remain viable, the Blakeview OSHC fees are in line with the costs of service provision.

We are needing to ensure that we are given enough notice to ensure quality care is provided, we do understand that sometimes it is unavoidable to make bookings the day care is required and we will endeavour to take this in to consideration for extreme cases. Late Pick-Up fees & general charges OSHC service is open until 6.00 pm. A late fee of $2 per minute per child applies after this time. Families that have arrived late to collect their children more than 3 times in a term will occur a $10 late fee per child each time a late collection occurs thereafter on top of the $2 per minute per child, this fee is not subsidised from Centrelink. OSHC on occasions supply new underwear for little mishaps that may arise - $1.50 Vacation Care on excursion days if a water bottle is not supplied a sealed bottle of water will be supplied - $2, Recess supplied - $2, Lunch supplied $3, Hat Fee: $6. Non-payment /Overdue Fees Any family who does not make regular payments for fees will receive a Friendly Reminder. We ask that you please remember to make regular weekly or fortnightly payments to your OSHC accounts. It is important to keep accounts up to date, any accounts that do not have regular payment will result in Vacation Care and/or Before and After School Care sessions cancelled. If you wish to speak to the Director about your account or making a payment plan please contact Lorraine on either 8254 5827 or email@example.com Following further non-payment of fees owed to the service a letter will be sent to the family advising that their children’s attendance will be refused until ALL OUTSTANDING FEES ARE PAID. If a final notice is issued then all Care requirements will need to be paid in advance. No exceptions. For families who no longer require care but have outstanding accounts, these will be followed up by the Central Admin and may result in being added to your school account for reimbursement of care provided. If on a second occasion a family allows their account to become overdue without negotiation, the children will be permanently excluded from the service, the only exception to this will be all care requirements are paid in advance. Please contact the Director for fees and charges. Each year, your OSHC account MUST be cleared before you can return to the service the next year. Late Pick-Up Fees The service is open until 6.00pm. If your child is picked up after the service is closed a late fee of $2 per child per minute will be billed to your account. Families that have arrived late to collect their children more than 3 times in a term late will occur a $10 late fee per child each time a late collection occurs thereafter, this is on top of the $2 per child per minute. This is not covered by Centrelink.
Cancellation Fee You will need to provide 5 full working days if your child will not be attending OSHC, written notice needs to be given either by emailing or a note in the communication diary.
If you have made a payment that has not shown up on your account as yet, please check the account for the week ending date before calling OSHC.
Any bookings made whether permanent or casual will be charged an absent fee if your child doesn’t attend the session and written notice given as per our cancellation policy.
If your child is not attending a booked session please give us a courtesy call so we know the whereabouts of the child.
Fees need to be payed weekly or fortnightly (if you have any issues financially please contact me as soon as possible so we can work out a payment plan)
Vacation care packages are available as of week 6 & bookings only accepted with a signed booking form and your fees are up to date.
During Vacation Care please let us know if your child is not attending as we need to adjust staffing and there may be other children on the waiting list.
During vacation care any bookings cancelled will be an absent fee charge which is covered by Centrelink. Under no circumstances will there be a swap of days, what you sign for on the booking sheet is what you will be charged for and bookings will not be accepted without the vacation booking form signed.
If you cancel your Vacation Care you will not be charged if we can fill your spot.
If you are cancelling a permanent booking please do this in writing with a weeks’ notice.
If your child is doing school sports or after school activities we need to be notified, we will keep a list if this is a regular event.
If your child is going on camp one full weeks’ notice needs to be given and then there will be no charge.
All parents are entitled to the up to 50% rebate from Centrelink but you must be registered with them and supply your CRN numbers to the service.
Additional charges An admin fee is charged once a year $15.00 per child. New underwear - $1.50 (If your child should happen to need a change of underwear) Sun Smart Hat fee - $6 once off (Unless hat is misplaced additional $6 fee applies thereafter for replacements) *Water Bottle - $2 *Recess - $2 *Lunch - $3
*Please note these charges are for forgetting your recess & lunch, reoccurs will incur a further fee These Charges will be applied to your OSHC account
